In the proud tradition of In the Continuum, the College of
Thelema presents a new biannual journal committed to the highest
quality of Thelemic thought, creativity, and instruction,
published twice annually, at the Vernal and Autumnal Equinoxes.
Articles on Qabalah, tarot, ritual magick, yoga, astrology,
psychology, Thelemic philosophy, and other related subjects are
included which will assist the student to gain self-knowledge and
to discover his or her True Will. Each issue contains material
targetted especially at the beginning student, and also more
advanced material.
Regular features include a section on the Qabalistic analysis of
important numbers; book reviews; poetry by Crowley and others;
and articles on magick and yoga, which are the foundation
practices of spiritual attainment. Along with articles on diverse
aspects of Hermeticism, the ten issues of Volume I will include a
series on practical Ceremonial Magick with extensive example
rituals; an astrological and Qabalistic analysis of Crowley's
astral investigations of the Enochian Aethyrs in The Vision & the
Voice; and a series of articles (beginning in Issue No. 2) on
Raja Yoga.
Back issues will remain in print to preserve the cumulative
reference value of the publication.

NOTE TO AUTHORS & ARTISTS
Contributions of articles, artwork, poetry, lyrics, book reviews,
questions, etc. are solicited. Articles should, when possible, be
submitted both in hard-copy and in electronic forms. They may be
sent as plaintext, by email, to Pearl@thelema.org, or by surface
mail to the address below. Artwork must be one-color (black)
capable of reproduction by photoreproduction means. Payment for
submissions actually used will be limited to a complementary copy
of the issue in which a writer or artist's work appears. Black
Pearl acquires one-time publication rights, with the
understanding that all issues will remain perpetually in print
and reprint; all other rights remain with or revert to the
respective creators. For reply and/or return of materials,
enclose SASE; no responsibility is assumed for lost or unreturned
submissions.
