Greetings Re and Frater AOC

The crucial point of the Golden Dawn mystery is the resurrection. This
is revealed by the role Osiris, Christ and also the resurrection of
the Adept in the Vault of the C+R. These primarily are the keys to
understanding the methodology of the Golden Dawn system.

Obviously we can keep returning to the Cipher Manuscripts as some sort
of reference point. However it seems to me that the Tarot and format
of Cipher Manuscripts can be similarly used to support a
transmutative-resurrected of ascent up the Tree.

While Fr AOC may respectfully disagree with the above, no doubt a lot
of magick is happening in the Outer ceremonies. Much of this is not
clearly evident until later. Whatever ones opinion of GD ceremony and
Open Source; most will no doubt agree to the importance of getting the
magical formula right. Especially when we (magicians)using various
archetypal (and other) energies to encourages certain kinds of
development within the psyche of the candidate.

A most fascinating aspect of the ceremonial magicks is the
completeness of the traditional Golden Dawn outer order form, which
provides the mystical transformative sustenance to both 'those of us
who have pitchforks or harps' this not being particulary apparent
until later when the candidate becomes awakened to his/her True Inner
Nature.

One may think that perhaps i am getting away from the point. The point
is that the traditional formula of the GD resulted in the brillance of
Crowley, just as it did Waite, Yeats and others etc.

The big question regarding Open Source, is WHAT DO their ceremonial
changes have upon those working that formula within etc. What is the
outcome and the result of the magical body. For it is that body which
transcends
illusion and works its magick. And what if any is the advantage.

At the end of the day, one must have the intent and the absolute
knowledge and asurance that, by whatever process, the method.formula
will actually achieve the intent desired.
