If members here in the U.S. had been "promised grade papers for years"---which could have been easily photocopied, and mailed out to be put in personal binders----and they are now being refused these long-promised grade papers because this previously "initiatory" secret material is now going to be commercially published in book form for the general public as its only transmission---then we can say that the Aurum Solis has lost its credibility as an initiatory magical order-----On the other hand, if American members of the A.S. are simply complaining because they will have to pay the cover price (or jobber's lot price) for commercially published books (which might, or might not contain a few things they haven't seen before) then the A.S. Brits at headquarters are justified. Publishing is not easy or inexpensive and organizations have a right to expect their members to support their publishing efforts.
