Care Frater,

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Well, you did ask for it after all... [All quoted text (c) O.T.O.;
all text enclosed in asterisks represents emphasis that I have added
to mark topically significant material.]

Liber Aleph

     {Gamma }{zeta } DE MISSA SPIRITUS SANCTI.

"Be thou diligent, o my son, for in this wondrous Art is no more
Toil, Sorrow, and Disappointment, as it *was* in the *dead Aeon*
      of the Slain Gods."

     {Gamma }{tau } DE CORPORE UMBRA HOMINIS.

"But the Formula of *the past Aeon* was of the Dying god, and was
      based upon Ignorance."

Liber 418 with Comment

"26. 'The Slave-Gods *superseded*. The Vision of the Stele of
Revealing, *abolishing the Aeon of the Slave-Gods*."

     30th Aire:

"I turned me to the South[1]

"[1] South. Silence. Marriage in Binah. This leads to the
Rapture of the Ineffable Union. *Closing of Old Aeon.*"

     29th Aire:

     "I turned me to the West and there was a great Bull[1];

"[1]. The Bull is *Osiris or Jesus*: he complains of the terrible
things that are Happening, especially the Freedom (which he
thinks shamelessness) of Woman. He does not understand the
New Aeon, or that *he is about to be destroyed*. *He is* in
the West, i.e. *going into Oblivion*. Cf. West in he 30th
           Aethyr."

     26th Aire:

"The Cry of the 26th Aethyr, Which is Called DES[1]

"2. [...]This Aethyr describes the *supersession of the Aeon
         of Jehovah and Jesus.*[...]

     6th Aire:

"Now it seems that the centre of infinite space is that Urn,
and Hadit is the fire that hath burnt up the book Tarot. For
in the book Tarot was preserved all of the wisdom (for the Tarot
was called the Book of Thoth), of *the Aeon that is passed*."

     2nd Aire:

"All this while the vision in the Shew-Stone stays as it was, save
that the lightning grows more vehement and clear; and behind the
vesica piscis is a black cross[1] extending to the top and to the
edges of the Stone. And now blackness spreads, and swallows up
      the images.

"[1]. This seems to refer to Thmaist, whose Aeon *will succeed*
           that of Horus."

Commentary to Liber LXV

     Chapter IV, verse 23.

"They are *to put an end to* the regimen of *the* Mother (*AEon
      of Isis*)."

     Chapter V, verse 5.

"Isis and Osiris govern respectively the two AEons (of the Mother
and the Dying God) through which we have *passed*."

     Chapter V, verses 32.

"Those who realize what this means rightly assume that it marks
      the *end* of an AEon."

Little Essays Towards Truth

     INDIFFERENCE

"The methods of the *dead* *Aeon of Osiris* were in fact attended
      with no inconsiderable danger."

Magick in Theory and Practice

     Chapter V

"IAF varies in significance with *successive* AEons."

One Star in Sight

     Verse 5.

"This can take place only at an 'Equinox of the Gods' at the
      *end of an 'Aeon'*;"

Magick without Tears

     Letter 48

     "2. [...] the *whole period* of the Aeon--approximately *2000
         years*."

"But a new Magical Formula is on a vastly bigger scale. Cast
your mind for a moment back to the last occasion, when Osiris
*succeeded* to Isis. In that great cataclysm not only Empires,
but civilizations crashed one after another. *Three quarters
of the Aeon had elapsed* before the wine of that vintage was
      really drinkable."

Now, perhaps I'm simply reading the above incorrectly, but I think he
makes the point [& his stance thereon] perfectly clear.

Love is the law, love under will.

Pax vobiscum,

Sohbet
