for how long? what was involved in his tutelage? what type of
yoga did Parananda teach and what lineage was he associated
with in traditional Indian yogic culture?  if Crowley was
familiar enough to instruct (and co-opt) this tradition, then
why did Hymenaeus Alpha go to HHH for kundalini instructions?

in yogic culture as I understand it.

not paperwork, but there are traditional periods of study,
ascriptions of abilities and spiritual state, etc. there are
oral lists of gurus and their successors which ought to
include Crowley (by whatever pseudonym) if he was provided
with a real pedigree of instruction by Indian gurus.
