dead; sometimes they have been described as ascending into the 
clouds or whisked away to an island of immortals by a fantastic mount.

there may be other objectives for taoist sexual activities, such as 
manipulating the cosmos, controlling time and space, etc., etc.

the phrase can be used in many ways, of course. I've only provided 
my peculiar variation of it (taoist sexual alchemy, unorthodox).
