I feel akin to the spiritual and fantastic, the magical, and have since I was quite young. I couldn't imagine, for example, why the Wiccans with whom I was studying had us carrying iron nails into our visualization romp into the Faerie, since as far as I was concerned we were going to visit my *family*. :> the elves understood, I told them we'd come in with some humans and that we were using their queer customs. the demonic seems to me merely the more gruff and/or less Christian-hospitable members of that family (mostly on account of the Church and people who dislike the spirit world). some are of course just assholes, but I've never been concerned when interacting with such spirits. I just treat them like I would treat a human being that was being corrosive, getting away from them and resisting their corrosion. #># Myself, I tend to stick to animal spirits, elementals and #># the occassional deity (Lately have begun working with the #># Orishas with intense results). Would be intersted in #># hearing about your work with demons, if ou would care to share. #> only recently beginning, nothing formal. I find that they are will- #> based liberation-oriented, dakini-like energies which have been #> eshewed from ordinary civilized consciousness. # So is it the chao they represent that you like best? I'd say it was the power and the indignation I like most. their edge-of-human-experience wildness. like interacting with some ranger of consciousness or a slighted and wounded animal. they seem to trust me and I care for them. blessed beast! tyagi@arkaotika.abyss.com nocTifer ____________...oooOOO---zazas-l@hollyfeld.org---OOOooo..._____________ To unsubscribe send "unsubscribe" to zazas-l-request@hollyfeld.org To unsubscribe your@email.com send "unsubscribe your@email.com" To subscribe send "subscribe" to zazas-l-request@hollyfeld.org http://www.hollyfeld.org/heaven
