are you familiar with the activities of the son of the brother of Louis
XIV, the Duke de Chartes? i dont have the dates at hand but he lived till
the 1720' or possibly latter, was infamous for reading rabalaies(?) in
church and consorted with "self proclaimed" Satanists or devil worshipers,
going so far as to stage black masses and on at least one occasion
attempting to raise the devil. under his auspices a young girl with a
reputation for clairvoyance looked into a mirror and said about the duke de
bourgoine(?), Louis XIV' heir, "son of a king, father of a king but never a
king shall be" the man in question while louis heir lived to see his 2nd
son become king of spain but died before he came to the throne leaving his
eldest grandson to become louis XV.

the memories of the duke de saint simone have this information as does the
book "Monsieur, unique file de roi" or "Monsieur, brother to the king" if
your interested i can look up dates and publishing history for you, the
modern editions of saint simone have a more complete translation, the 1901
edition calls gays "ultamontainists" and dosnt touch the anti christian
stuff however one of the mitford girls did an excellent translation that
does include what would have been considered to radical in 1901 and then
there is the duke de gramonts "saint simone at Versailles" which is in
translation and fairly available.

have you ever heard of "addamites" a group of near eastern christians that
consider it better to honour and worship the devil as he has dominion over
the earth and "God" is so far removed from the scheme of things it is
better to propitiate the devil than to fear "God"

Joseph
