Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law:

From my perspective as a Minoan Brotherhood 3* HP -
its the name of a Phrygian God of Ecstasy, Healing &
Wine. It's numerically 821 (according to
http://www.cs.utk.edu/~mclennan/OM/BA/Isopsephia.html#isops)
which is also 11. (This obviously varies depending on
your preferred method of calculating.)

He was one of several Chthonian deities absorbed into
the Cult of Dionysus. He was also referred to as
Jupiter Sabazius and Bacchus Sabazius by the later
Romans.

His worshippers passed a gold snake through their
robes across their lap as part of the rites of worship
and healing.

Sabazius derives either from "sabo" a god of health;
or "sevas" reverential awe.

The "Sabasia" also linked to him was a festival not
unlike the Mithraic Mysteries in which the evolution
of the races was performed as a mystery rite. Later
revived in Rome it became the Sacra Savidia.

Plutarch, believing that the Jews worshipped Dionysus,
is the most like origin point for the association of
Sabazius with Tsabaoth (or Sabaoth - a gnostic Archon

Rather than going on forever, its the magickal name I
was given at my Initiation into the Minoan Brotherhood
and has considerabled shaped my Witchcraft over the
years.... it is however, an 'outer-court' name in
Witchcraft at this point - having assumed other inner
names over the years, and rather than cause further
confusion among Thelemites I am looking at adopting a
new name to work with in a Thelemic context. (Oh and
the Phrygian Cap and for some reason a Turtle are also
associated with him. ;> )

Love is the Law, Love Under Will.

Agape,
David
