Subject: THE ESSEMIAN MANIFESTO - Female Dominance and Fetishism as a Religious Philosophy

   A growing number of special women, some wearing long, flowing
   robes and capes, and thonged sandals upon their feet, others clad
   all in leather, spike-heeled shoes or boots, and carrying
   implements of bondage or punishment, are being called "goddesses"
   and worshipped by those who humbly bow their heads to the floor
   at their feet. The emergence of a new religion? Perhaps. The
   Essemian Manifesto describes in religious philosophical terms the
   postulation that certain acts of female dominance, when
   ritualized as psychodrama, can be a religious experience. Small,
   privately printed booklet (60 pages 5x8 in.) describes theology
   of the Darkside Goddess and Her rituals.

                 EXCERPTS FROM THE ESSEMIAN MANIFESTO
                                   
   High Priest Transformed Into Lowly Slave in Unique Ceremony
   If SMC is supposed to be the Church of the "Surrendered Male,"
   one may wonder why and how can there by any males who are
   permitted to have any authority at all? The answer is in an
   Essemian tenet that says, no male can be trusted to act with any
   authority he cannot surrender when required. Therefore, a
   surrender of real male power is required to vitalize the ritual.

   The Essemian Manifesto describes a special ritual for males who
   have any SMC-business related authority. They must be
   periodically "purified" in special rituals designed to make a
   dramatically visible and impressionable display of the act of
   surrendering male power to a female authority figure. Priestess
   Sarakira, by placing him in chains, transforms a former high
   priest into a lowly temple slave to be assigned special menial
   duties he must perform in his chains that he may have to wear
   indefinitely.

   Slaves Have "Special Duty" to Suffer In Goddess Kali Temple 
   The Essemian Manifesto infers that the most important duty of
   Kali Temple slaves is to be used in the Goddess Kali rituals that
   require male sacrificial offerings. To be bound and beaten as a
   slave in Her temple can be a virtuous offering to this Goddess.
   Since historic icons show Kali in a dominant stance on top of the
   body Shiva, shown as a prostrate male figure, the Essemian
   Manifesto concludes that it should be clear that it is the
   special obligation of the male who is expected to suffer by
   enduring pain and humiliation as an atonement to the Goddess.
   To Know True Humility One Must Be Made to Crawl Like a Serpent

   Kali symbolizes the destruction of the ego. As She is standing
   with a man beneath her feet, it must be the male ego She intends
   be destroyed. The Essemian Manifesto describes a special ritual
   for destroying male ego. A male is tightly bound hand and foot,
   whipped, and made to crawl face down on his stomach like a
   serpent just to place his head at the feet of a woman on a throne
   to whom he must offer his head and face to be her footrest. This
   is a ritual guaranteed to destroy the ego of any man. Woman on
   the throne is priestess Sarakira.


   Priestess Teaches Slaves How to Pray Under Difficult Circumstances

   The final ritual to achieve total humiliation. After a few
   strokes from her whip, the priestess has the slave rolled over on
   his back face up and told that in order to avoid a long and
   painfully severe whipping he must pray to the goddess as well as
   beg the priestess for mercy. But, as he tries to speak, she
   presses her bare foot firmly over his mouth in an effort to force
   him to struggle in vain to continue voicing his pleas for mercy.
   Unfortuneatly, she wants to "feel" as well as hear the muffled
   prayers and pleas for mercy coming from her "footstool." Her foot
   continues to follow his moving head to find his mouth. Finally he
   tires and gives up his struggle to avoid her foot in his mouth.
   Some women have said that the vibration of a helpless man's
   pleading lips moving against their bare foot is so intoxicating
   as to cause the action to continue for hours.



     The foregoing were excerpts from the Essemian Manifesto.
     The Essemian Manifesto was not written for entertainment.
     The Essemian Manifesto is a small press, private publication
       printing that describes some of the philosophy and rituals of
       a real, California incorporated (Kali) Goddess-oriented
       church.

     The Essemian Manifesto's premise is that Kali is returning to us
       through the collective subconscious by channeling through
       women who feel spiritually inclined to dominate men.
