no, I think several times people have posted about it being a bone
that one obtains in heinous or cruel ways, boiling the cat, for
example. of course killing animals in religious rituals is not at
all unusual. but I wonder how many of them require boiling a mammal
(or some other living being) alive to achieve some important or
powerful action? I've never heard of it, but I'm just an egg.

how much to believe about these matters? not easy for me to say.
I can say I've never seen such an object of which I'm aware and
don't put much faith in the method. it is interesting folklore,
and demonstrative of the cruelty inherent in some of it (not all
to cats, some good bit to children, snakes, and insects).

how do you think it should be treated? like a relic or sacred
ground or something? I am quite sincere in asking this. I'd like
to know how all people treat magical and religious substances.

really? why's that? what would you prefer to do to get it?

so it should be someone you knew personally? or someone who is
like an enemy or relative or something? how deep would you dig?

> or buy it from a store is unheard of.

is there something about the processing of a store, or is it
the fact that you don't know from which grave it came that you
would consider it so unheard of?

> I guess like they say different strokes for different folks.

let's learn about all the strokes, I say! :>
