yes "reality" in this sense is perception, one identifies the shifting
and malleable projection-screen which shapes and encloses our interior
experience, occasionally punctured by real-world mismatches.

correct, it is an operating mode.

from false to true, yes. one suspends knowledge sets, re-orients to
data which supports the new chosen set, and moves on.
