This is my own personal method. It is indubitably a good one, as _it
works_ - at least for me. In order to understand it, you have to accept a
few basic principles:

Firstly, in "777" and Dion Fortune's "The Mystical Qabalah", the "Vision
of the Holy Guardian Angel" is attributed to MALKUTH. The Hebrew name of God
associated with Malkuth is "ADONAI HA-ARETZ".

Secondly, in "Confessions", Aleister Crowley makes a reference to a
method of vibrating "Adonai Ha-Aretz" which summons the Holy Guardian Angel.
But he doesn't say what it was, or indeed if Allan Bennett got round to
telling him.

Therefore, I decided to see if I could discover the method for myself.
And here it is - those who know their G.'.D.'. magick will recognise it as a
version of the "Vibratory Formula of the Middle Pillar", with visualisation
and the use of Egyptian god-forms.

Step 1: Project yourself Astrally, in the Body of Light. (It is also
possible to start from a Lucid Dream, I have done it in both manners).

Step 2: Raise your astral arms above your astral head. Simultaneously
breathe in, lower your arms into a T-position, and visualise the phrase
"Adonai Ha-Aretz" as a force being drawn down through the top of your skull
and into your heart.

Step 3: Vibrate "Adonai Ha-Aretz" in your heart whilst powerfully
visualising your Holy Guardian Angel standing before you.

Step 4: Will the force in your heart to descend to your feet, and visualise
"Adonai Ha-Aretz" as vibrating in the Malkuth of your Tree of Life.

Step 5: Assume the god-form of Horus the Elder. Draw your hands to either
side of your head, let the force shoot up from Malkuth back into your heart
(Tiphereth), project it towards the visualised image of the Holy Guardian
Angel with _the Sign of the Enterer_. Do all this whilst powerfully
vibrating "Adonai Ha-Aretz".

Step 6: Assume the god-form of Harpocrates. Make the Sign of Silence.

The first time you do this you may very well be shocked by the amount of
energy that explodes within you - so shocked in fact that you might return
to your physical body rather sooner than anticipated. However, once you have
prepared yourself you can repeat the procedure, and start getting to know
and to converse with your HGA.

Hint: It is wise to test the Angelic apparition: theoretically, it should
give the Sign of a Zelator, and say it comes in the names of Adonai Ha-Aretz
and the Archangel Sandalphon.

Any terms you don't understand in the above post can be looked up in a good
book (e.g "The Golden Dawn" by Israel Regardie), or, if not, they can be
found in Donald Michael Kraig's "11 Lessons in Modern Magick".
