Are you familiar with the works of Stan Tenen of the Meru Foundatiion? He is a Jewish mathematician who has published many texts and produced several videos on his theory that the Hebrew alphabet contains intrinsic and ordered meaning. His proofs of geometric and topological coding in the Torah are pretty impressive. He is not pitching gematria, rather he is pointing to an embedded set of physical, topological, and geometric keys to understanding the Hebrew alphabet and thus the Torah. You can get a glimpse of what he offers by going to http://www.meru.org Scroll down past the longish intro to the table of contants and read any of his essays. Tenen, like most Jews, began his work with Bereshith (the first word in Genesis), which is where the code is laid out, obviously, and he is working very far above those silly little gematria-tables-of-coincidences that many Crowleyist and Hermetic folks in alt.magick think constitute the entire Kabbalah. cat (just another yid) yronwode The Esoteric Archive --------- http://www.luckymojo.com/esoteric.html No personal e-mail, please; just catch me in usenet; i read it daily.
